UMO is London’s first protein-first fast food brand that is aimed towards energy, focus, and performance. Our meals are made fresh on site with real ingredients, never seed oils, and designed with a balance of high protein, less carbs and adequate fibre across the product range to keep your blood sugar stable and hunger away for hours.
The first UMO store is located in Tulse Hill, London, next to the Tulse Hill Train Station. The address is 6, Station Rise, Tulse Hill, London SE27 9BW.
Most high-street fast food is built around refined carbs and seed oils that cause energy crashes. UMO flips that model: our food is protein-led, blood-sugar-friendly, and made from whole ingredients only — no processed fillers or deep frying but just as quick and convenient as regular fast food.
Even a single teaspoon of seed oil adds unnecessary calories without real nutrients. At UMO, we cook in ways that keep food naturally delicious and satisfying — just like gourmet meals, but without the hidden oils and excess calories. The result is calorie-efficient food that keeps you full and fuels you better.
Not really. UMO’s for anyone who wants proper food that keeps you full and feeling good. High in protein, lower in carbs — so you don’t get that tired, heavy feeling after eating. Just clean, tasty meals that actually power you through the day.
We’re working on online ordering soon. For now, you can visit our Tulse Hill store for dine-in or takeaway. The packaging is designed to be commuter friendly so that UMO can be enjoyed on the go.
UMO was founded by Mosh Rahman, who found it hard to eat healthy while out for long days in London. Most options on the high street were deep-fried, bread-heavy, or carb-led — and none left him feeling great. Friends and family resonated with feeling sluggish or unwell after fast food, but no one seemed to be offering a real solution. This gap needed to be addressed, and that’s how UMO was born — bringing high-protein, balanced meals to the high street without the junk.
